Singer and talent Naoya Urata will sing the national anthem before the 2016 J.League YBC Levain Cup Final at Saitama Stadium, the league announced on Monday.
The 33-year-old is the leader of popular J-Pop group AAA, who in November will hold shows at Osaka’s Kyocera Dome as well as the Tokyo Dome for the first time to mark the October 5 release of their 52nd single.
The two finalists in the cup tournament will be determined in the semi-final round on October 5 and 9, with FC Tokyo facing Urawa Reds and Yokohama F. Marinos taking on Gamba Osaka in their respective series.
