Vissel Kobe’s Leandro and Sanfrecce Hiroshima’s Peter Utaka will share the league’s Golden Boot award following the conclusion of the 2016 MEIJI YASUDA J1 League.
The two strikers netted 19 goals apiece across the season’s two stages, becoming the third duo to split the award and the first since 2010.
Both Leandro and Utaka will be honoured at the 2016 J.League Awards on December 20.
