Cerezo Osaka have signed Croatian defender Matej Jonjic ahead of the 2017 season, the club announced on Friday.
The 25-year-old, who began his pro career at Hajduk Split, will arrive in Japan after two seasons with South Korea’s Incheon United.
“I’m incredibly excited to join such a great club and I want to thank Cerezo Osaka for giving me this opportunity,” Jonjic said.
“I want to play my best and earn good results in the J1 together with my manager, team-mates, the club staff, and our fans.”
