Kyoto Sanga F.C. this weekend announced the signing of former Nagoya Grampus defender Marcus Tulio Tanaka for the upcoming season.
After starting the 2016 MEIJI YASUDA J1 League season without a club, the 35-year-old rejoined Grampus in September, playing seven matches in an effort to help the club avoid relegation.
“It’s an honour to join a club with such a fantastic history, Tanaka commented.
“I look forward to playing my best in order to help Kyoto Sanga achieve promotion to the J1.”
