Kawasaki Frontale on Friday announced the signing of striker Rhayner Santos Nascimento on a season-long loan from Brazil’s Ponte Preta.
The Serra native has played for Figueirense and Fluminense among other clubs.
“I’m grateful for the chance to play in Japan. When I spoke to (former Frontale midfielder) Renato, he told me that Frontale were a great team with a bright future,” Rhayner commented.
“I hope to get fit as quickly as possible and work hard to make our supporters happy.”
