Shimizu S-Pulse have signed Brazilian defender Kanu on a permanent transfer from Thailand’s Chonburi.
The 31-year-old scored one goal in 23 appearances during the 2016 Thai Premier League, making two additional appearances in the AFC Champions League.
“I’m incredibly happy to have the chance to wear the Shimizu S-Pulse shirt this season,” Kanu commented.
“My team-mates and I will work hard to satisfy our supporters and accomplish the club’s goals.”
