Shimizu S-Pulse on Sunday announced the release of Dejan Jakovic.
The Canadian international spent three seasons at the club, making a total of 42 J.League appearances as well as 11 appearances in domestic cup competitions.
“Three years ago, I came to Japan and started a new chapter of my career at Shimizu S-Pulse,” Jakovic said.
“I would like to thank the fans, residents of Shimizu and everyone at the club for treating me so warmly. It has been an honour to play here.”
